Strategic plan of SAMIFIN (2022-2026)

This key phrase illustrates our fierce commitment to contribute to the economic development of the country through controlling illicit financial flows. Rapidity, efficiency, impact, innovation, and excellence are the main principles the team at SAMIFIN is adhering to in all efforts pertaining to our plan and objectives.

The vision of SAMIFIN is to become, by 2026, a gold standard of Financial Intelligence Unit in Eastern and Southern Africa, with a high impact on regional cooperation and mobilization.

This five-year (2022-2026) plan will help Madagascar comply with international standards and strengthen the synergy between national actors, as well as boost international cooperation. It also aims to ensure the effectiveness of the systems in order to mitigate the risks and threats of ML/FT/FP and to detect and repress illicit financial flows.
