Official Presentation of the 2026–2030 National Strategy for Combating Money Laundering, Terrorism Financing, and Proliferation Financing (SNLBC/FT/FP)

On May 7, 2026, in Ambohijanaka, SAMIFIN officially presented the Implementation Plan (PMO) for the National Strategy for Combating Money Laundering, Terrorism Financing, and Proliferation Financing (SNLBC/FT/FP) 2026–2030.

Adopted by the Council of Ministers in November 2025, this strategy aims to make Madagascar a safe and attractive investment destination by 2030 through an effective AML/CFT/FP framework.

Developed based on the National Risk Assessment (NRA) and enriched by several sectoral assessments, particularly on legal entities and virtual assets, the PMO outlines priority actions to be implemented around four strategic axes and 13 objectives. Its preparation involved all stakeholders through Task Forces established as part of the preparations for Madagascar's mutual evaluation, the on-site mission of which is scheduled for July 2026.

This presentation was given under the patronage of the Prime Minister, Head of the Malagasy Government.
