Meeting with the Director General of BIANCO

The Director General of the Independent Anti-Corruption Office (BIANCO) and the Director General of the Financial Intelligence Service of Madagascar (SAMIFIN) met on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at the Bianco Office located in Ambohibao.

The meeting focused on the fight against corruption (LCC) and the fight against money laundering, terrorist financing and counter-proliferation financing (AML/FT/FP). The two Heads of Institution have agreed to form a complementary front in these two areas of struggle, and this is a mutual commitment to collaborate in the service of State policy. In reality, this cooperation takes the form of the exchange of information, intelligence and mutual support in analyzes and investigations between the two entities.

It should be noted that the two General Directors know each other well and have been colleagues for a long time at BIANCO, communication between the two Heads of Institution and the two men is and will thus be easy, ensuring effective synergy in the future.
